Been on a fanfic-reading binge, just not to obsess abut our next project and GAAAH! Altough there's a surprisingly high number of well written stories - I mean good characterisation, style, pace, imagery etc. - you can erase the sex scene(s) in 99% of them without affecting the story, plot, style, PACE, chara etc. It's just stuck in without any other sense or reason than to garner readers by porn. Am so bored by porn. *sigh*

That's kinda why I decided to keep my plotty fanfic separate from my porny fanfic... and I definitely prefer writing the plotty stuff more. I totally hear you on that.

Hi! Er, sorry to randomly barge in(?) but I was browsing and just wanted to say WORD! (Especially about the porn!) Because this is exactly how I feel as I've, also, been reading a lot of fanfics lately :D

Though, I think there are more badfics than goodfics when compared to the overall number of fics XD

Welcome back! (to both of us, since it's been a heck of a long time since I last commented on anything here. ^_^;)

It's good to see that you're doing so well, and I'm happy to report that I am, too. I've done a ton more writing since we last talked - some of it for Guyver, but I've been doing a fair bit of writing for Kingdom Hearts, as of late; not to mention my work on Flesh and Blood, which seems to be picking up, too.
