I just watched thrice FMA Brotherhood ep 18 and:

I mean I had about 983968750678 fangasms. LING! XERXES! JAQUELINE!

I mean, I'm incoherent right now.

Maybe later, after I've cooled down, right? Cool, elegant, detached analysis of literary thingy in a mature way... Oh, alright, my usual blather, only maybe juuuuuuust a tad more coherent than this. Heh...

Oh, and I made a Bleach icon in glory of filler

I'll take that as a warm recommendation, shall I? ;) I just finished the old anime. It was pretty great, I felt. And interestingly disturbing at times. =]

HUGGLOMPSQUEEE! I thought you were totally disgusted with me. What a squeeful evening this is turning out to be!

Also aaaaayup! TONS AND TONS better than the old one mostly because it's 'zactly like the manga. DO watch it. A good site with fansubs and VERY high quality is here ( AVOID EPISODE ONE which is, for some unfathomable anime reasons, totally ooutside of the story and is all sound and fury signifying nothing. Start ay ep 2 and you'll get to know Alphonse, for one thing, no, I mean the REAL Alphonse, and LIIIING! MEY! ROSS! *ahem* a host of super badass characters like GENERAL OLIVIA ARMSTRONG!

Am still incoherent and so so so SO HAPPY! to see you.

Also, Bleach is HP on crack with lots more DEAD PEOPLE! Y/N?

*hugs* No, no. I'm disgusted with society, humanity and life itself, but not with you. :)

I'll give the anime a look, then. More alchemical badassery is never a bad thing. 8)

Hmm, I must admit to never having seen Bleach... ^_^;

Postpone Bleach, it's fun but rather dumb fun, it can wait.

Point is that it's LOGICAL alchemical badassery based on Pratchett-like worldbuilding in that yep, it's demented, but no, there are laws which always work in the same way, also people don't get upgraded, they mature.

I do understand and agree about your various disgusts, am pretty disgusted meself right now.

Well, it's nice to see you so happy, I must say. :D

As for the Guyver subs, might I suggest you search for those one by Guyver Advocacy? You can ask about them on Japan Legend.

Oh thanks! I mean I had settled for dubbed because I want to know what the fuck they say, but dubbed voices not very good at acting and all flat and that.

Did you know that Ling's (LIIIING!) voice actor also is voice of LLOYD! AND! MAYURI! *squee* Every time I hear Ling I want him to a) modify sodding Launcelot and b) have self/clone incest in labs, which is mightily odd with Ling.

Am more utterly demented and finally cracked completely, but that could pass for happy, yep. Also, am not a sad person usually. Am usually pissed off at things.

Well, I admit that I'm kind of biased toward English dubbing, both since I hate trying to read subtities when I'm trying to watch a show, and because I just like them better. I seriously like Murakami's, Agito's, Sho's, and Alkanphel's English voices and the rest of them are pretty good, too.

Have you read Uzumaki or Amigara yet?

Started Uzumaki and saw first two pages of amigara which is Janespeak to say I just dabbled because I was distracted by shiny things. e.g. one new book and FMA brotherhood. :-D

I like Agito's dubber, though his Japanese voice is SHEXXXXY, but Agito, up to ep 9 is easy to dub as he's deadpan. Murakami and Alkanphel I haven't met yet. Sho's English voice is alright, but his Japanese actor is really good, makes him complicated, which he is and isn't... alright, but it feels silly talking about a series of which you've seen only a third.

Also I want to KILL Tetsuro-san. Also also Why do I see a Guyver (13 eps) and a Guyver, the Bioboosted Armour (26 eps) which is what I'm watching and thnks for the tip again?

The 12 eps - don't know where they got 13, though it's possible they were counting the OOC movie - are an OAV series that came out in the late 80s. I've watched it, and the animation, while fairly good for the time, is obviously dated. Also, it only covers half the territory that the TV series covers; up to book 5, rather than one chapter into book 10.

What's your beef with Tetsuro?

Ah, I see, I was curious.

Tetsuro-san... It needs a long explanation and a bit of analysis, actually, but the gist of it is that he appears to be in a position and to fulfill a role relative to Sho, but he doesn't and that irritates me. It's not exactly bad writing, I think, it's prolly more than I haven't seen enough.

That makes sense, I guess. You don't really get to know the characters very well in the first three episodes, I have to admit.

Oh, and since you don't mind spoilers, I'll tell you this now: don't get too attached to Sho's father. ;)

NOBODY could get attached to Sho's father. He's a cypher and also so very clearly in the way I had him pegged for cannon fodder the moment I saw him. His only function appears to be the straw to break Sho's back by dying and/or being zoanied.
